Mobile blog post. Gabe needs me! I knew it. Although he is moved out he just called and needs help with grocery shopping. So over to UW I gladly go! I love it
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope we become friends as I share stories from my life. I'm learning something new every day and have so much more to learn. Have a blessed day!
In 2010 I blogged through the devotional God Calling edited by AJ Russell and published by Barbour Publishing. I was amazed how something written in the 1930's spoke to me in 2010. That's how God's Word is. Alive! Check out some of my blogs from 2010.
The publisher of my first book (Extreme Diva Media/See Media) started calling me "The Caring D-I-V-A" and has created an acronym for Diva:
D-I-V-A = Devoted, Inspired, Valued and Authentic.
I'm Gigi Murfitt, a woman living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest - U.S.A. who loves to write. I'm married to a wonderful man named Steve Murfitt. I met him when I was sixteen years old but it took ten years for us to get together. We celebrated our twenty-fifth anniversary this summer.
We have two amazing sons. Zane graduated in May '09 from WSU. In June '09 he married the love of his life Kelsey Ryan. Gabe is a third year college student. We have a true apple cup rivalry in our house with Zane and Kelsey loyal to WSU and Gabe loyal to UW.
Our other family members include our rambunctious yellow labrador named Donovan McNabb and our one-eyed cat named McGuire.
I have a huge extended family with nine siblings and about 65 immediate family members. We grew up in Big Sky country.
I hope to use this blog to write encouragement to my readers.
Visit my website at www.GigiMurfitt.com to keep tabs on my writing and speaking career.
My first book "Caregivers' Devotions to Go" was released by Extreme Diva Media in January 2010. I'm finalizing the manuscript for my next book which I hope to see in print by the end of the year.
