No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. John 15:15
A servant does what he is told. He sees what the master is doing but he may not know the meaning or purpose.
A friend develops a fellowship with another through close communication. A friend knows the purpose and meaning of the other's activities.
Jesus calls you friends. He will make known to you the things He hears from God the Father. All the power God has available to Jesus is yours.
He will supply all your needs. Nothing is too difficult. Whether God supplies a flower or a million dollars, both are fashioned from love for those who need it.
He created the flower as a gift for you. As the bud opened you smiled. That smile cheered someone up. It's good for your health and theirs. Good health means more work for God's purposes. All of that means more souls for God.
And so it goes for the friends of God. He constantly supplies you with your spiritual need.
As His intimate friend, you have the right to ask for your needs. Ask away!
God Bless Your Heart,
Gigi
