You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. James 2:24
Some of the obstacles we face on a daily basis seem like evil mountains we may never conquer. But the Bible tells us we can move mountains with just a little bit of faith.
How do we exercise that faith? Obedience.
You can believe all you want but if you don't take action then you may not get to the next mountain peak.
When the Lord asked Abraham to put Isaac, his long awaited son, on the altar of sacrifice, Abraham was obedient. He trusted in what God had promised even though it did not make sense.
His obedience proved his faith and God provided a sacrificial lamb to take Isaacs place.
In the same way, God provided Jesus as a perfect sacrifice for my sin.
Faith produces works and works perfects (completes) faith.
Go move some mountains.
