I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death… Philippians 3:10
From death to risen life. Death was the last thing Jesus destroyed. It is finished. The victory is complete.
What are some of the things that hinder us from this risen life? Laziness, depression, distrust, fear and selfishness are just a few.
At the cross Jesus finished everything that hinders.
- Sin is forgiven
- There is nothing to fear
- We can trust God because He is faithful
- Holy Spirit power helps us in our laziness
- Joy overcomes our depression
- We live for God and not ourselves
Arise and shine for the light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1
