Day 133 Never Judge

Judge not, that you not be judged. Matthew 7:1

So often we pass judgment without really knowing the heart of the matter. We hear a few juicy details and run with it.

Just look at the checkout stand full of gossip magazines catching our eye while we wait to pay. Most of it is fabricated rather than factual.

Why does it appeal to us so much?

Is it because if we point the finger at someone else the light shines less on what's going on in our own life?

We are all so unique and we live with very different circumstances, feelings and motives. Most often we have no idea what's really going on in someone else's life. Yet we judge.

God will put together the puzzle of circumstantial evidence to paint the picture of the truth. Let Him do the judging and the teaching.

The cup of judgment I pour out on someone else will be added to my account.

I'd rather have a big measure of the blessing I bring to those around me.

Give the heart of your friend or loved one to its Maker and let God take what was wrong and set it right.

Our job is to love. Period.

God bless your heart with a love for others.
